Separation Anxiety
Separation Anxiety traces the fragile space between connection and distance, where longing, instability, and transformation overlap. Documented imagery of street art in Tel Aviv after the October 7, 2023 attacks was wrapped around 3D models of the walls it was painted on, then flattened through a process called “unwrapping.” Separation Anxiety is a permanent archive of the temporal, activist nature of street art, which so often responds to pain or conflict and is so easily written over. This work speaks of how community can rise from the ashes of destruction to advocate for those left behind and in need.
